Community partnerships create opportunities, strengthen connections and celebrate the people who represent Naoero with pride.
At Eigigu, we believe that meaningful community investment extends beyond financial support. Strong partnerships create opportunities, strengthen communities and help people achieve their goals.
Earlier this year, Eigigu was proud to support Team Naoero’s participation in the 2026 AFL World 9s Tournament in Melbourne through our partnership with Pacific Star Community Ltd.
The tournament showcased exceptional talent, determination and community spirit across both the men’s and women’s competitions. The men’s Division 1 team and the women’s team both completed the round robin games undefeated before finishing as runners-up in their respective grand finals.
Team Naoero also participated in the Harmony Cup football tournament earlier in the year, where the men’s team delivered an outstanding performance and narrowly missed victory in the grand final.
Through this partnership, sponsorship funding contributed to player registrations, uniforms and essential team supplies, helping to ensure that athletes were well prepared to represent Naoero in Australia.
What has been particularly encouraging is seeing the broader work being undertaken by Pacific Star Community Ltd. Beyond the football field, the organisation continues to create opportunities through sport, education and employment while strengthening connections within the Naoero community in Australia.
We’re grateful to Pacific Star Community Ltd for sharing these moments with us and for the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who contributed to such a successful year.
We look forward to continuing to build relationships that create opportunities for the Naoero community and support future initiatives that bring people together.
