Building Export Capability to Support Naoero’s Food Supply

Strong supply chains rely on more than moving goods from one place to another. They depend on robust quality systems, regulatory compliance, traceability and people with the knowledge to manage each stage of the process with confidence and safety.

Some of our team are currently completing AUS-MEAT Quality Systems Accreditation Training for Non-Packer Exporters (NPEs), building specialist skills that supports Eigigu’s ongoing ability to export Australian meats to Naoero.

AUS-MEAT plays an important role in protecting the integrity of Australia’s red meat industry. Its accreditation framework operates within internationally recognised quality management systems and sets the standards.

During the training, Utako and Gabriel are maintaining and developing further knowledge of export licensing, quality systems, National Accreditation Standards and product specifications.

While much of this work happens behind the scenes, its impact is very real. Ensuring this knowledge is maintained within our team guarantees the required processes and standards to move meat from supplier to destination reliably and responsibly.

For Naoero, it means helping ensure continued access to a reliable supply of quality Australian meat and building stronger capability around an important part of the food supply chain.

This investment is just one of the ways we continue to deliver for Naoero and our team. By continuing to invest in our people, we are strengthening what we can deliver today and into the future.
